What is Botox?
Botox is the most effective solution to treating and preventing fine lines and wrinkles. It works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles, preventing the muscles from contracting. This temporary paralysis of the muscles results in a reduction of wrinkles and fine lines in the treated areas, typically lasting for 3-4 months before the effects gradually wear off.
What is Xeomin?
Xeomin is a neurotoxin very similar to Botox. It is used to treat and reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles, such as frown lines, forehead creases, and crow’s feet. Like Botox, Xeomin works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles, temporarily relaxing them and smoothing wrinkles. Xeomin is know as the “naked injectable” because of its purified form. Xeomin does not have additives compared to Botox.
